Review Summary & Conclusion
Are you ready to be whisked off to your favorite travel destination? Now is the right time to hit the trails and roads to explore the world around you. But for this, you need to find yourself an ideal travel backpack that should be small, light in weight and spacious enough to hold all your traveling or hiking gear in one place along with all the essentials.
To start with, considering all the specifications, features and price, I would recommend this backpack. The materials are very strong and durable, and I would highly recommend it for e.g. college purposes, work or any other urban activity. It can efficiently accommodate a couple of books or a laptop and is also very easy to carry around on the go. However, I would highly recommend this pack for those seeking a daypack for strictly hiking and mountain traveling purposes, as it might not be able to fill in all the gear you would usually pack.

How We Got The Results
Comfort
The thin straps are very soft and easily adjustable. The mesh covered die-cut foam back panel adds onto the comfort of carrying it. The materials are breathable and attribute to good absorbency when you sweat while you embark on to your journey, especially during sweltering heat. Also, the Daylite Plus comes with a hip belt which helps in your mobility and you can maintain an upright posture while you travel around with it.
Specifications
Main Features
Weight
It weighs only 1.2 pounds (0.54kg) and the strong 210D nylon double diamond ripstop accent and pack cloth bottom are very substantial. It is a prime option to use while you go for your urban outings and want to be quick on your feet. The Daylite Plus is not the lightest daypack in our Top Ultralight Daypack list but far from the heaviest. However, this pack would definitely rank high in Top Average Daypacks list if there was such a list because e.g. I would rate the weight to performance ratio very good but still it could be lighter and there are others daypacks on our top list that perform better.
Versatility
Daylite Plus interior sleeves have a lot of versatility. Its large front panel can be used to load a lot of handy and common items which can range from electronic tablets to lightweight raincoats. The main compartment is very capacious and provides enough space to fit all your traveling essentials. It is also equipped with an inner laptop pocket which can be used if you want to use this backpack for work/school purposes. It also has a hydration bladder slot. However, this daypack might not be best suited for very long hiking trips as for some hikers 1220 cubic inches (20 liters) might be too small, but it very depends on what kind of a hiker you are. Do you always pack ALL the gear or just the essentials? This backpack is for the essentials packing hikers.
Build Quality & Durability
The Osprey Daylight Plus is made up of nylon fiber, which durable enough to withstand natural climate change such as heavy rainfall or any unexpected weather conditions. There are zero to none problems regarding the pack’s construction and build. Osprey always makes high-quality products that are built to last. What I’ve seen on the web concerning durability, very few people have had problems. A good habit is to remember always to place your backpack on a soft or flat surface when taking it off your back.
